February 26 & 27 @8pm, February 28 @ 7pm

Wes Keller lives in a world where oil has collapsed, the food supply has been wiped out, and cancer rates for women have Skyrocketed.

In a barbaric environment where bio fuel, batteries, bullets are currency and Marauders roam free, Wes searches for a world run on cold fusion “Plutopia,” a place that may only exist in his mind.

THE BILL IS DUE. ‘Downstream’ is a view of the not so distant future. We follow a young man as he pays the price for society’s decadence.

ABOUT THE PRODUCTION

DOWNSTREAM was created by PHILIP Y. KIM,

An imaginative original story debut from producer Philip Y. Kim is a thoughtful narrative about the end of the world, as we know it. This film was shot in the tradition of Sergio Leone and best characterized as homage to Rod Serling (“The Twilight Zone”) and George Miller (“Mad Max-Road Warrior”).

Shot on location in Sonoma County, Lancaster, and Palmdale, CA, on a ambitious budget, “Downstream” was filmed in 25 days in the spring of 2008 and ranked among the first productions to begin principle photography on the RED ONE camera, only a prototype at the time, next to Fox Studio’s “Jumper” and Soderbergh’s “The Girlfriend Experience.”
